At Avenues of Excellence, we believe exemplary behavior is the foundation of academic achievement, leadership, and lifelong success. While today’s youth have unprecedented access to information and resources, many still lack the character development, discipline, and social skills needed to fully realize their potential. Through our programs, we work to shift this paradigm—equipping young people with the character, confidence, and social refinement required to excel in school, leadership, and life.
Established in 2009, Avenues of Excellence has delivered premier etiquette, protocol, and advanced social decorum training to youth and adults nationally and internationally. Building on this foundation of expertise, we launched the Red Carpet Girl® Mentoring Program in 2016—a community-based, modern-day finishing school designed to cultivate the next generation of poised, confident female leaders.
Serving middle and high school girls—particularly those from underserved communities—this signature initiative prepares participants to thrive in elevated academic, professional, and social environments, embrace leadership roles, and carry themselves with confidence, grace, and integrity.

Founded under Avenues of Excellence, Red Carpet Girl® was created to address a critical need: preparing teen girls during their formative middle and high school years to thrive in elevated environments and future leadership roles.
Our program is multi-faceted, offering two core pathways of engagement:
Short-Term Community-Based Programs (4–12 Weeks):
Delivered in partnership with schools, foster care services, and community organizations, these sessions provide concentrated exposure to social, educational, and leadership skills. Typically offered during afterschool hours with select experience-based weekend sessions, they give girls practical tools to build confidence and character. Although the duration is short, each program is filled with life and developmental lessons designed to create lasting cognitive and behavioral impact. To reinforce progress, we incorporate pre- and post-program assessments along with parent and guardian support sessions, emphasizing the vital connection between a healthy home and a healthy child.
Signature Long-Term Program:
Our hallmark initiative, this program identifies girls in middle and high school and continues with them all the way through graduation. As close to a modern-day finishing school as one will find, it provides extensive, wraparound support services that nurture academic, social, and personal development. The program meets twice monthly—virtually and in person—supplemented by periodic weekend enrichment sessions. Because of its depth and duration, participation requires a clear commitment from parents or guardians, ensuring alignment between the program’s goals and the support system at home. Open enrollment occurs annually.
Beyond these sessions, every participant benefits from transformative opportunities such as cultural outings, professional workshops, and leadership forums. Each year, select girls are invited to attend an international summer camp, giving them access to global educational and cultural experiences that broaden their perspectives and inspire them to pursue leadership on a worldwide stage.
