Hello Red-Carpet Girl,
This month, as we celebrate Valentine’s Day, I want to remind you of something very important: love is not just something we celebrate on one day. Love is something we practice every single day, through our words, our thoughts, and especially our behavior.
One of the most powerful questions you can ask yourself is this:
Is my behavior loving, kind, thoughtful, and patient toward others and toward myself?
The way we treat ourselves matters just as much as the way we treat others.
Each of us is beautifully unique. There is no one else in the world exactly like you. Just like fingerprints, footprints, or the leaves on a tree, no two are ever the same. Every leaf may come from the same tree, but each one is different in shape, size, and detail. And so are you.
Your differences are not mistakes.
They are what make you special.

You are deserving of love, kindness, appreciation, and patience, especially from yourself. Loving yourself doesn’t mean being perfect. It means learning to be gentle with who you are and who you are becoming.
1. Speak kindly to yourself
Pay attention to your inner voice. Talk to yourself the way you would talk to a best friend, with encouragement, not criticism, but with edits along the way.
2. Be patient with your growth
You are learning and growing every day. It’s okay not to have everything figured out yet. Growth takes time.
3. Honor your feelings
All feelings are allowed. Happy, sad, nervous, excited, they all matter. Permit yourself to feel without judgment.
4. Celebrate what makes you unique
Your personality, your interests, your dreams, these are your gifts. You don’t have to be like anyone else to be worthy.
5. Choose kind behavior daily
Kindness starts with you. Small acts of love: a smile, a deep breath, a positive thought make a big difference.
This Valentine’s season, I invite you to celebrate love every day. Be loving. Be kind. Be patient. And most of all, be gentle with yourself.
You are special.
You are growing.
And you are deeply loved.
I love you.
